With a career spanning back to 2000, Tom has worked in various capacities in the retirement industry. From holding executive positions in national administration and record-keeping firms to becoming the president and CEO of Strategies Capital Management, Tom’s path led him to merge with PRISM in 2020, entrusting them with the future of his practice and cherished clients. Today, he enjoys making introductions and referring new individuals, families, and business owners to our firm.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tom has been a driving force in improving the retirement industry for investors, earning a strong voice within the field. His expertise has garnered media attention, as a featured guest on Fox Business News and Advisor Television. In addition, his insightful articles have been published in esteemed publications like The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Forbes.
Educationally well-rounded, Tom holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University (OH) with a minor in Statistics (Decision Sciences).
Passionate about giving back, Tom is an active member of his church, serving as the chair of the Finance and Personnel committees for many years, as well as founding its Children’s Mission Project, which creates volunteer opportunities for youth to give back to the Denver community. He also coaches boys’ basketball for the YMCA and Kent Denver and has been honored with a Volunteer of the Year award for the city of Denver. Tom also serves on The Kent Denver School Investment Committee, helping guide policy on their school endowment.
Outside of the office, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Jane, and their two boys. He is an avid cyclist, plays tennis and golf, and enjoys traveling.
